| The Tennessee Land Title Association (TLTA) is the trade association of the title insurance industry in the State of Tennessee. TLTA gathers information regarding the industry for the use and benefit of TLTA members. The Tennessee Land Title Times, TLTA’s quarterly newsletter, contains information and articles geared specifically for the land title industry. In addition, TLTA offers many educational opportunities through the annual Hot Topics in Real Estate seminar co-sponsored with the Tennessee Bar Association, annual title schools, and programming during the annual convention. |
News The Federal Housing Finance Agency (FHFA) recently announced changes to the Home Affordable Refinance Program (HARP) in an effort to attract more eligible borrowers who can benefit from refinancing their mortgage loan. Click here to view the announcement. The Consumer Financial Protection Bureau has released two drafts of a new combined Truth-in-Lending/HUD-1 and are inviting industry comment and feedback. Please visit the CFPB website "Know Before You Owe", (switch to the "Industry Tool") to view these drafts and offer your feedback. TLTA Membership Benefits Expanded to Include Preferred Providers!
