I have thoroughly enjoyed serving on the board and various committees with the Tennessee Land Title Association. This group is full of amazing title professionals who are always willing to seek the best for the title industry. It is not only a great place to positively impact our industry, but also a great place for networking and having conversations that allow you to get a feel for the direction of our markets.

I love attending TNLTA events because it allows me to meet with other leaders in our industry. It’s great to have the opportunity to come together and learn from one another.

I joined the TNLTA over 25 years ago at the start of my career in the title world. The association has been an invaluable resource in my learning of the business. The education courses that are offered are great. The best part is the people I have meet through the association who are so willing to share their wealth of knowledge. I highly recommend anyone starting in the title world, join the TNLTA.

The TNLTA is a community of title professionals dedicated to education, training and a commitment to excellence making it an essential resource for anyone working in our industry! As a member of the TNLTA, I’ve had the opportunity to work closely with some of the best title and escrow folks in the industry. Through the organization, I’ve had the benefit of connecting with and exchanging knowledge with other land title professionals, which has been invaluable for networking, sharing best practices and building strong relationships with my peers. And, for anyone looking to enhance their expertise and take their career to the next level, I highly recommend the Tennessee Land Title Professional designation (“TNLTP”). Overall, membership with TNLTA is important to anyone looking to build a successful and rewarding career in land title work.

I have been involved with the Tennessee Land Title Association for over 20 years. There are many great benefits of being a member. One of those benefits is that the association is here to protect our industry. Chuck Welch and our legislative committee have gone to bat for us many times by helping get certain legislations passed that would not have gotten passed otherwise. They also make sure to question legislation that could possibly hurt our industry. The TNLTA is a great source for education. We offer several classes every year along with a yearly convention and a wonderful “Principles of Title Insurance – Tennessee” book set that is very educational and every title office would benefit from having. By being a member, I have gotten to know so many people across the state within our industry that I would not have known otherwise. I’ve made lifelong friendships that I know I can always count on.

The Tennessee Land Title Association is the official advocate for all agents in the state of Tennessee. It provides the vehicle for the voice of title agents to be heard through legislation that influences or impacts our industry, provides educational opportunities and other resources that supports title agents. Through my years as a member, I have been able to volunteer on various committees and network with other professionals. If you want to protect our industry in Tennessee, I highly recommend you join the organization to have your voice heard.

The Tennessee Land Title Association is the voice of the industry to the public and the governmental entities that regulate the industry. I have been able to take advantage of the promotional materials offered by the association as week as the educational materials available through the organization. Additionally, the TNLTA has protected the industry through its PAC and its efforts to pass needed reform on a series of topics and to influence and shape legislation that otherwise would have a negative effect on our industry. The Tennessee Land Title Association is the one and only vehicle providing the services for the protection of the public on many of these issues in Tennessee today. I HIGHLY recommend that all title professionals join this organization today!!
