This 3 hour seminar will be an interactive discussion between attendees and a title insurance underwriter. A wide variety of common issues and problems pertaining to deeds, conveyances, estates, bankruptcy and recording will be discussed. Examples of specific topics are: proper use of powers of attorney, vesting of title to real property of decedents, property descriptions, outstanding mineral interests and/or oil and gas leases, statutes of limitations for liens, unreleased liens and mortgages, bankruptcy of property owner and other related topics.
