With the passage of the Dodd-Frank Act and the creation of the Consumer Financial Protection Bureau, lenders are being held to a high standard of liability for their third party venders. As title agents, we are third party venders and are being asked to adhere to these higher standards. The ALTA Best Practices were created to meet these demands. This course will educate the title agent on how to create, implement and live up to these standards.
