Step 1. If you have not yet purchased the “The Principles of Title Insurance – Tennessee, 2nd Ed.” ($199, Plus Tax and Shipping), that should be the first step. Click here to Purchase Book.
If you already have the book, you can skip this step.
Step 3. After payment of the test fee, you will be issued a confidential code providing you access to the online quizzes. You will then review the material in the course book and take the corresponding quizzes associated with each chapter. Note: You may take the quizzes at your own pace and you will have full access to your written course material at the time you take each quiz. You must pass each quiz with a minimum score of 85%. You may retake any quiz an unlimited number of times.
Step 4. Once you have satisfactorily completed all the quizzes, you will be issued a “Certificate of Course Completion.”
Step 5. If you are not yet a member of the TNLTA, you need to apply for membership at this time. Please see “Membership” tab for further information.
Step 6. Next, you finalize the TNLTP Application and pay the $99 application fee. The TNLTP Application will include a listing of your years of industry service and participation in industry events documenting that you meet the minimum eligibility requirements. The “Certificate of Course Completion” will be attached to the TNLTP Application.

Step 7. Once the Application has been submitted, the TNLTA “TNLTP Committee” will review the submitted application and recommend issuance of the designation to the Board of Directors. Once approved, you will be authorized to utilize the designation, in all forms and manners allowed by TNLTA.
