For those of you who wish to view the actual FinCEN Regulation as published in the Federal Register, the following link leads to the 37 pages published on August 29, 2024.
In addition to information posted by all the Underwriters on their websites, the American Land Title Association also has a LINK to articles and resources on the FinCEN Regulation. For ALTA members, ALTA has developed special FinCEN compliance forms to collect all required data from both buyers and sellers.
Finally, TNLTA has developed an interactive FinCEN Chatbot. TNLTA members can access this resource by clicking the Chatbot image. (Access to this Chatbot requires that you have a Google account. If you don’t have one, you can easily secure a free account for access.) This chatbot will allow you to type a detailed query about a transaction or application of the Regulation and receive a detailed response that includes citations to the final Regulation and other carefully curated articles from its database.
As events unfold and new information is developed, we will update this page and the Chatbot resource materials.
